Final Consonants!

I absolutely love keeping track of the evolution of Christian's words and language as a whole. This past week, we have noticed he is using several final consonants in his words VERY well. We've had a couple, like the /n/ and the /m/ sound, but all of the sudden, more and more of his words are complete. Maybe it's from the tweaking of his map 2 weeks ago, or maybe it's just his age...whatever it is, I don't care. I'm so proud of my little boy!

We've noticed words ending in /k/, like WALK and MILK are now completely pronounced, as are words that end in /x/, like box. And, he is trying so hard with his /t/. I'm going to try to get these on video. It's absolutely amazing. He already has /m/,/n/, and /p/

***OOPS! In my original post, I wanted to also note that our work with action words is definitely paying off...Christian is adding on -ing when appropriate too.

Wow- way to go! Final consonants can be hard to master.

Only six days left until your little girl arrives. Holy cow, time is going fast (at least for the rest of us, lol).

That's great! Mari only does T's and the occasional N as finals. And any word ending in P or D now ends in T in our house too.
