Thanksgiving!
We had a nice Thanksgiving here at our home, with Christian's Gram and Poppa. With enough food to feed 10 adults (even though it was just the 6 of us, and Lily only has 2 teeth!), we had a bounty of food for our holiday.
I love the holidays because they are so rich with language opportunities. This year, Christian said grace, and told us that he was thankful for "My baby sister, Lily". He also declared at the end of the meal "Thanksgiving is over. It's now time for Christmas. Santa is going to bring Spiderman, Batman and The Incredible Hulk". Our IEP goal of maintaining 6-8 word utterances is obsolete now, since both Chuck and I are counting up to 13 word phrases. Lily celebrated her 1st Thanksgiving with her own little feast of sweet potatoes, turkey and stuffing. And our sweet baby girl signed and said "Ball" on Thanksgiving as well. Christian was just so excited to see his little sister use her sign and word just like how he taught her.

I love it! Lily is a quick learner, just like her big brother.
