Today at breakfast we had the news on. Christian noticed all the coverage about the tornados down south and we started talking about what was happening. Sometimes I do get little reminders that my kid really does have a hearing loss:
Christian: Mom, what are those people doing?
Me: They are picking up their belongings and their houses that the storm blew down. We need to pray for them.
Christian: Ok, I will.
Me: We need to make sure they get all the resources they need to be ok and fix their houses.
Christian (in a silly voice): RACEHORSES? What do mean RACEHORSES?
Yes, he still does have a hearing loss.
