Spring Break. Ahh...

We're on day 3 of Spring Break. It's absolutely awesome to have both of the kids at home, to not be sitting in the car for up to 2.5 hours a day commuting back and forth to school, and to be able to just relax at the end of the day. Christian has been resting a bit more and it is so nice to have a happy and well rested little guy in my house at 4pm instead of the tired and a bit cranky dude that shows up most days after his long day at school. We've had park dates, play dates, and some special alone time when Lily has been in school. Both of the kids have joined me at the gym. It's been nice to have a little glimpse of a slower life. I wish we could've gone to the beach this week, but hey, I'll take what I can get.
